This Point Should Be Obvious...

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” (James 1:22)

The point of the verse above should be extremely obvious to all Christians. Nevertheless, there are many so-called Christians who live as if this verse doesn’t exist. They immediately get offended when they hear preachers say that they need to live like Christians in addition to going to church once a week.

If you are the kind of person that gets offended by these kinds of sermons, you need to change your heart. You need to ask God for forgiveness, and you need to start living as if other people are more important than yourself. I suggest you find time to read the whole book of James from front to back, and then pray to God and ask Him to change you.
