God Only Gives What Is Good And Perfect

 ^”Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. ¹⁷ Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”  (James 1:16-18)

God only gives what is good and perfect. He is never the source of sin and temptation (see James 1:13).  He does not send us “spiritual gifts” that cause us to sin and deceive others. If you regularly deceive others or feed your lusts through what you think are spiritual gifts, than these so called gifts are not from God. God’s gifts are accompanied by truth and light. They expose evil. God’s truth does not change like “shifting shadows.”
