Why Many People Are Grumpy
Many people in this world are grumpy because they are striving hard to meet certain goals, and then their goals don’t materialize.
However, true Christians have no excuse to not be happy. Our only goal for this life is to honor God as much as we possibly can while on our way to heaven. That is why we can be joyful even when bad things happen, knowing that we are still meeting our goals.
The Bible says that God “has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (I Peter 1:3).
Therefore: “In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials” (I Peter1:6).
