The People of This World Are Not ONE With Each Other Or God
I believe that God created all people in the image of God and that Jesus loves everyone in the world. Likewise Christians must love everyone in the world, especially people who would normally be their “enemies” (Matthew 5:44).
However, everyone is not ONE. Jesus and God the Father are ONE (John 10:30). Likewise whoever truly believes the gospel are ONE and Jesus is in them (John 17:21-23). But those who refuse to believe are not ONE in God. Jesus said that those who would not repent are like weeds in the wheatfield (Matthew 13:37-43). How can they be ONE when they refuse to stop hating other people?
The Bible says:
“If someone says ‘I love God’ but hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” (I John 4:20).
Therefore, Although I love everyone in the world, I am forced to admit that not everyone is one with me, although I pray that they will repent and become one with me. I am commanded by God to love and pray for everyone in the world (I Timothy 2:1-4).
